Origins[]

The Talmud relates that Elisha ben Abuyah (a rabbi and Jewish religious authority born in Jerusalem sometime before 70 CE), also called Acher (אחר, «other», as he became an apostate), entered Paradise and saw Metatron sitting down (an action that is not done in the presence of God). Elishah ben Abuyah therefore looked to Metatron as a deity and said heretically: «There are indeed two powers in Heaven!» The rabbis explain that Metatron was allowed to sit because of his function as the Heavenly Scribe, writing down the deeds of Israel (Babylonian Talmud, Hagiga 15a).

… the Talmud states, it was proved to Elisha that Metatron could not be a second deity by the fact that Metatron received 60 «strokes with fiery rods» to demonstrate that Metatron was not a god, but an angel, and could be punished.

In opposition to this apology, Metatron is identified with the term «lesser YHVH», which is the Lesser Tetragrammaton, in a Talmudic version as cited by the Karaite scholar Kirkisani. The word Metatron is numerically equivalent to El Shaddai (God) in Hebrew gematria; therefore, he is said to have a «Name like his Master». However, Kirkisani may have misrepresented the Talmud in order to embarrass his Rabbanite opponents with evidence of dualism. On the other hand, extra-talmudic mystical texts (see below regarding Sefer Hekhalot) do speak of a «lesser YHVH», apparently deriving the concept from Exodus 23:21, which mentions an angel of whom God says «my name is in him».

The Babylonian Talmud mentions Metatron in two other places: Sanhedrin 38b and Avodah Zarah 3b. Yevamot 16b describes in the Amoraic period (200–500 CE) the duties of «prince of the world» being transferred from Michael to Metatron.

Metatron is also mentioned in the Pseudepigrapha, most prominently in the Hebrew Merkabah Book of Enoch, also called 3 Enoch or Sefer Hekhalot (Book of Palaces). The book describes the link between Enoch, son of Jared (great grandfather of Noah) and his transformation into the angel Metatron. His grand title «the lesser YHVH» resurfaces here. Metatron says, «He … called me, ‘The lesser YHVH’ in the presence of his whole household in the height, as it is written, ‘my name is in him.'» (12:5, Alexander’s translation.) The narrator of this book, supposedly Rabbi Ishmael, tells how Metatron guided him through Heaven and explained its wonders. Here Metatron is described in two ways: as a primordial angel (9:2–13:2) and as the transformation of Enoch after he was assumed into Heaven.

And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

This Enoch, whose flesh was turned to flame, his veins to fire, his eye-lashes to flashes of lightning, his eye-balls to flaming torches, and whom God placed on a throne next to the throne of glory, received after this heavenly transformation the name Metatron.

While this identification of Metatron with Enoch is not to be found in the Talmud itself, the connection is assumed by some of the earliest kabbalists. There also seem to be two Metatrons, one spelled with six letters (מטטרון), and one spelled with seven (מיטטרון). The former may be the transformed Enoch, Prince of the Countenance within the divine palace; the latter, the Primordial Metatron, an emanation of the «Cause of Causes», specifically the tenth and last emanation, identified with the earthly Divine Presence.

The Zohar calls Metatron «the Youth», a title previously used in 3 Enoch, where it appears to mean «servant». It identifies him as the angel that led the people of Israel through the wilderness after their exodus from Egypt (again referring to Exodus 23:21, see above), and describes him as a heavenly priest.

How to call on Metatron for Help

When you’re feeling lost, confused, or just need some help navigating the chaos of life, Metatron is always available to offer support. In order to connect with this powerful angel, however, you must first set aside any limiting beliefs or past karma that might be getting in your way.

Metatron suggests a few simple prayers to help get started:

“I am open and willing to receive guidance from Archangel Metatron.”

“Thank you for helping me find my way during these difficult times.”

“Please heal any negative energies that are blocking my spiritual advancement.”

If you feel like you’re under attack from spells or hexes, it’s also helpful to call on Archangel Michael for protection. And finally, remember that the thought that guides and embraces all change is the belief in one’s own divinity–something which can be experienced by working with Archangel Metatron through Akashic records.

Видимо, они могут и не создавать бедствий, либо по своему желанию (Гавриил телепортировался много раз, никак не воздействуя на окружающую среду, Михаил также), либо сосуды архангелов не выдерживали их силы (Ник и Донни Финерман очень сильно пострадали от Люцифера и Рафаила соответственно, так как не были их истинными сосудами). Демоны умеют телепортироваться в любую точку Земли или Ада. В Небеса и Чистилище им путь закрыт. Путешествовать из Ада на Землю в сосуде могут только могущественные демоны. Как и ангелы, демоны могут телепортироваться лишь находясь в сосуде, без него они могут летать в виде черного дыма.

Призраки могут телепортироваться лишь вокруг места или вещи, к которой привязаны. Если удерживающий их предмет переместить на значительное расстояние, призраки вынуждены будут последовать за ним. Возможно и воспротивиться этому, но для этого призрак должен вселиться в человека. В отличие от ангелов и демонов, в этой форме они не обретают способности к обширной телепортации.

Также британские просвещённые нашли возможность открывать портал для перемещения на огромные расстояния, но это заклинание требует значительных ресурсов и времени на подготовку. Symbols & Signs to Recognize Archangel Metatron

Metatron can often be a difficult Angel to recognize if you don’t know what you’re looking for. His presence is much more intense, often overwhelming, than others such as Michael, who often communicates with an almost Earth-like presence.

Metatron and Positive Thought

Have you ever sensed the urge to change a negative thought, or pattern of thinking into a positive one? This is one of the main signs that Metatron is with you. Because of his unique job of keeping records for the Book of Life, he has a constant reminder of how negative thoughts can lead to negative choices and outcomes. In contrast, Metatron knows that embracing positive thoughts can also lead to better decisions and outcomes. Be aware of your patterns of thinking. Always try to choose a positive thought in place of a negative one – there is nothing to gain by doing otherwise.

The Gates Of Metatron (11:11)

Angel numbers are a very common form of communication between the Archangels and humans. Repetitive or sequential numbers can indicate that you are not alone, they have a message for you, you are on the right path, or as a way of answering a question you have asked.

Everyone at one time or another has seen the time “11:11” appear on their clock, and likely made a wish. But did you know that this number combination is one of the main ways that Metatron may call to you? If you begin experiencing repetitive sightings of the number 11:11 on your clocks, receipts, gas pump, etc., there’s a good chance Metatron is trying to get your attention. He may be answering your questions about ascension and if you are on your awakening path. 11:11 is the most powerful of the master numbers and known as the DNA activation code for the ascension process. Metatron typically sends this sign when he believes you are ready to awaken to your true spiritual purpose.

Diamond White Light

Since everyone receives Archangelic messages differently, Metatron may make himself known to you in a number of ways. If you are a visual receiver, you will recognize him by his almost blinding diamond white light. If you experience Archangels through sense and feel, Metatron’s energy is HUGE – highly motivating and similar to a determined parent. You will likely feel strong tingling in your extremities, some light disorientation or dizziness, and a desire to “go the extra mile” in pursuing your intuitive nudges. If you are an auditory receiver, you might experience a high-frequency buzzing sound in your left ear, or even be able to make out faint words when he’s with you. And he often communicates through the dream state, by showing you different scenarios and possibilities within your grasp. His presence is powerful and strong.

How to know if it is a trickster spirit rather than Archangel Metatron?

When you first start on your spiritual journey, you may not know yet how to protect yourself, or your Spirit Guides have yet to adapt to protecting you on your new journey. This is the time when you are most vulnerable to trickster spirits, even though it happens all the time, to even more advanced spiritual practitioners.

These are the definite signs you are dealing with a trickster spirit:

Feeling a presence when you are in a vulnerable position (grieving someone, fearing abandonment, fighting with your loved ones, anger issues, doubting everything, etc.). A trickster spirit will feed on these emotions, and also fuel them even more.

Trickster spirits are those spirits who appear to be as someone else, trying to get something from you, while making you think you are talking to the Spirit you want to talk. In most cases, trickster spirits are not dangerous, they won’t affect your life, but they will play games with your mind. If you are in a vulnerable position,

for example, you are triggered by the loss of a loved one, or you want to know what your partner is doing when they’re not with you, it is easier for trickster spirits to come in, and play with you.

You will be asked to offer something to them, straight away. The first thing a trickster spirit will ask of you, is for you to offer something to them. They will usually start with asking for small things like a fruit, or a flower, or a cup of milk, or go for big ones like a dog, a goat, and other animals. They will push you to fulfill their desire, because they will in turn, give you the information you have been seeking. If you are in a vulnerable position, you are desperate for that answer, and they can feel that.

However, any spirit will usually be bound to tell you the truth, but you have to ask the right question. If they claim to be Archangel Metatron, you shall ask more personal question, like what’s his favorite color, what’s yours, what’s in your heart, what’s your tomorrow going to be like, what’s Archangel Metatron going to help with, what prayer should you speak, etc. If you are dealing with a trickster spirit, you will notice that they won’t make sense, or they will focus on what they want, rather than the question posed.

Trust your intuition. If you feel the answers from your spirit are tricky, or they don’t make sense, it’s because a trickster spirit doesn’t really know the truth, so they are trying to confuse you with half-answers, or nonsense answers.

A Spirit that holds power, such is Archangel Metatron, will answer straight away. If they can’t provide an answer, they will give you the reason for it. You won’t have to try, and decipher what they may be saying, and you won’t get answers that don’t make sense, or that do not relate to the question at all.

WHO IS METATRON?

Metatron is an archangel who has been present both in Judaism and in some branches of Christianity. Even though he does not appear in the Jewish Tanakh nor the New Testament, he is also known as Mattatron, Metraton, and Metator.

His name does not have a defined etymology. Some people claim that it comes from the Greek “the one behind the throne,” which is one of the most popular definitions, but it is the one with the least acceptance. Other people consider that his name comes from the Hebrew word that refers to the “guardian of the entrances.” Finally, some link his name with the Latin words “metator,” which means messenger, and “mitator,” which is defined as an explorer of the legions.

Metatron, along with his brother Sandalfon, is the only archangels that do not have the ending “the” in their name. They end in “on,” whose meaning would be “great”. This begins to appear in the Book of Enoch, which was edited in the 1st century BC. Other parts were rewritten in the 3rd century BC and later in the 1st century AD. This has led to different versions of who Metatron is.
